BC Cancer Studentships are sponsored by the BC Cancer Foundation and support senior undergraduate university students and/or junior medical or dental students seeking hands-on training in cancer research in British Columbia. Florian Kuchenbauer awarded Grant for Catalyzing Research Clusters from UBC

Each year, the American Society of Hematology (ASH) offers the merit-based awards to support select trainees with high-achieving annual meeting abstracts who are chosen to present their work at the ASH annual meeting.

Congratulations to Kevin Hay for receiving a Cell Therapy and Transplant Canada Hans Messner Award for his project entitled, “Cell-free DNA: A new biomarker in CAR-T cell therapy”.

One of the Foundation’s major objectives relates to the investigation and support of complementary and alternative medicine, particularly in the treatment of cancer.
