Our Focus
The Office of Research Administration (ORA) helps maintain, strengthen and build research infrastructure, ensuring research sustainability in conjunction with our funding partners.
The ORA works with academic partners to strengthen the research ecosystem locally, nationally, and internationally, while providing the research community with effective, efficient research services and standardized processes based on best practices. Among the areas ORA provides assistance with are human resources, finance, grant support, information technology, building operations, biosafety and radiation safety.

Newly renovated library at BC Cancer – Prince George strengthens access to knowledge and community support
Across nearly all BC Cancer regional centres, the library offers a welcoming, supportive environment where patients, families and members of the public from across BC and Yukon can ask questions, explore resources at their own pace, and receive guidance from knowledgeable staff – helping them feel more informed, empowered and confident throughout their care journeys.
BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer, which includes BC Cancer Research. Together with our donors, we are changing cancer outcomes for British Columbians by funding innovative research and personalized treatment and care.
