I am the Provincial Division Head of Radiation Oncology & Developmental Radiotherapeutics at the University of British Columbia, overseeing the academic activities of Radiation Oncologists, residents, and fellows at all six BC Cancer centres. In this role, I work closely with the Senior Executive Medical Director, Provincial Radiation Therapy at BC Cancer.
After initially practicing in Vancouver, I was the first physician hired to BC Cancer – Prince George, where I primarily treat Breast, Head & Neck, and metastatic cancer as a Radiation Oncologist. I am also the Medical Director of the centre. I am proud to work in a small academic community, pushing the boundaries of academic work, and advocating for clinical trial inclusion of patients from rural and remote communities.
My main areas of research is focused on clinical trials of precision radiotherapy in the metastatic setting.
