Parneet Sekhon is a Research Project Assistant with the Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department at BC Cancer. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia, where she developed and fostered her interest in cancer medicine through insightful research experiences in both laboratory and clinical settings. Parneet aims to deepen her understanding of cancer care and the health and social inequities faced by patients in BC. Through her work in supporting research centered on improving clinical practice and equity-oriented cancer care, she hopes to create a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
