Lilia Laihem is a Research Project Assistant at BC Cancer’s Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation (NAHRKT) department. Lilia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Food Nutrition and Health at University of British Columbia and also works in lab administration at BC Cancer in Pathology. Lilia’s goal is to join healthcare to promote innovative approaches to improve clinical practice and patient centred care through research-based evidence and knowledge translation. Through the pilot study on patient reported outcomes to optimize breast cancer follow up care, her aim is to provide equity-oriented cancer care and improve quality of life for cancer survivors.
