Chantelle is a postdoctoral research fellow hosted at BC Cancer, in partnership with the UBC School of Nursing, as part of the CIHR Health System Impact Fellowship program.

Chantelle is a nurse and is passionate about improving health care. The focus of their research lies within the intersection of technology and quality of care, with a particular interest in the unintended consequences of advancing technologies in the health system.

During the Impact Fellowship, Chantelle will be exploring the meaning of harm in the context of cancer care, and the ways in which harm may be inadvertently associated with health information technologies. Using collaborative research methods, Chantelle aims to leverage insights from research to directly inform improvement efforts and advance care toward the quintuple aim.
