Amber Bourgeois is CIHR Health Systems Impact Doctoral Fellow with the Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department at BC Cancer and a PhD student at the University of Victoria, School of Nursing. Prior to her fellowship, Amber was a nurse practitioner at the Victoria Cancer Centre. Ms. Bourgeois’ research interests include examining barriers and systematic differences in accessing cancer treatment and care for structurally vulnerable populations. This foundational work aims to advance equitable access to cancer service innovation in real-world settings.
