Amber (she/her) holds both a clinical position as a nurse practitioner in systemic therapy at BC Cancer Victoria, and joins the Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department as an embedded clinician researcher. Amber is currently a PhD student at the University of Victoria, School of Nursing, and a past CIHR Health Systems Impact Doctoral Fellow at BC Cancer.
Ms. Bourgeois’ research interests include examining barriers and systematic differences in access to cancer treatment and care for structurally vulnerable populations. This foundational work aims to advance equitable access to cancer service innovation in real-world settings.
