BC Generations Project, part of the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow's Health (CanPATH) has been awarded for $1.75 million by the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force.

The BC Generations Project with Dr. Parveen Bhatti through the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health with $2.1 million in new funding awarded by CIHR are proud to be part of a new Canadian Population Cohort COVID-19 Initiative, SUrveilling Prospective Population cOhorts for COVID19 pRevalence and ouTcomes in Canada (SUPPORT-Canada).

Laurie Smith, winner of a PHSA+ Award, is the program manager of the Global Control of HPV Related Diseases program at the Women's Health Research Institute, and has worked tirelessly to control and eliminate cervical cancer in B.C.

Five of our CCR team members recently received awards in the last few weeks. Congratulations to Laurie Smith, Adam Raymakers, Iris Lin, Madhurima Datta and Daniel Louie.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research will provide funding to support their world-leading cancer research for years to come.
