Dr. Olivia Aguiar (she/her) is a Research Project Assistant within the Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department. She is a human-centric, multidisciplinary researcher with experience in quantitative and qualitative methods and analyses, science communication, data visualization, and community outreach.
Olivia comes to the team with over 20 refereed research contributions including peer-reviewed publications and award-winning podium and poster presentations. Her research interests are motivated by cultivating informed communities to enhance human health outcomes.
Olivia is grateful to live and work in Vancouver, BC, on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
