Emily Lonsdale is a Research Projects Coordinator with the Nursing and Allied Health Research & Knowledge Translation department at BC Cancer. She completed her Master’s degree in Gerontology from Simon Fraser University, where she specialized in health and aging with an emphasis on family caregiving and informal health supports for older adults. Her diverse research background and work experience in community healthcare and non-profit settings developed Emily’s passion for equitable social and health supports across the lifespan. Her research interests pertain to health equity, responsive policy, and knowledge mobilization practices that support patients and their various care providers.
