Emily La Roue joined BC Cancer’s Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department as a graduate student who actively engages in a diversity of project-based roles and activities. Emily graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Entrepreneurship. At McGill, she currently pursues a Master of Science (Applied) in Nursing with a special focus on Knowledge Translation. Emily’s academic and clinical experience has fueled her passion for healthcare research, education, and the systematic implementation of evidence into practice. Her goal is to learn and develop these skills as a collaborative partner of the NAHRKT team, and ultimately contribute to enhanced outcomes for all individuals and families affected by cancer.
