Debbie Lam is a Research Projects Assistant with the Nursing and Allied Health Research & Knowledge Translation department at BC Cancer. She completed her Master’s degree in Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia, where she focused on meeting the mental health needs of adults living with type 1 diabetes in rural and remote communities of BC. Her research interests lie in reaching medically underserved communities to identify ways to improve health equity and patient care.
