John S. Laughlin Award
Arman Rahmim has been selected as the winner of the 2016 American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) John S. Laughlin Young Scientist Award. The award, usually given to an AAPM member under the age of 45, recognizes outstanding scientific achievement in the field of medical physics.
SNMMI Computer and Instrumentation Council (CaIC) Elections
Arman Rahmim was voted Vice President-elect for the SNMMI CaIC Board of Directors, starting June 2016. The term for Vice President-elect is one-year, but is a four year commitment, becoming Vice President, followed by President and finally Immediate Past President of the Council.
