We are excited to announce that Dr. Fumio Takei has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Bernhard Cinader Award, recognizing exceptional leadership and mentorship in the field of Immunology among Canadian researchers.
The Canadian Society of Immunology (CSI) Award Committee unanimously applauded Dr. Takei's outstanding scientific achievements, in line with the award's criteria aimed at celebrating remarkable contributions.
The Bernhard Cinader Award, named in honor of its first recipient in 1987, recognizes individuals who not only demonstrate excellence in research and mentorship but also contribute an additional dimension, whether it be in teaching, art, outreach, or any field where the researcher distinguishes themselves. Dr. Takei's contributions will be honored at the upcoming CSI meeting.
