Our lab loves to help define and collaborate on Capstone Projects. This past year (2024-25) we had two outstanding UBC Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate teams pursue their Capstone Project with us. The two projects were on:
1) "Fluidics System for Modeling Pharmacokinetics of Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmaceuticals" led by Dominic Starck, Max Paul, Marcus Poon, Yohan Fung & Mateja Clifford
2) "3D Printing of Heterogeneious Radioactive Nuclear Medicine Imaging Phantoms" led by Ricky Parmar, Owen Byrne, Ryan Carey, Faith Homsab & Eddi Xie.
These two great student-led efforts were in collaboration with James Fowler, Pedro Esquinas, Carlos Uribe and Arman Rahmim, in our Qurit team.
