Following years of practicing dentistry, Dr. Poh completed her PhD degree and residency training in 2004 before obtaining her Canadian and American Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology certification in 2005. Since, she has become the consulting clinician at the Oral Oncology Program at BC Cancer, and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist at the VGH. Dr. Poh started her academic tenure as Associate Professor in 2010, and recently as Professor in 2017, at the Faculty of Dentistry of UBC.
