We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Jennifer Ritonja to the Population Health Sciences department. Jen joins us as a scientist, bringing valuable expertise in cancer epidemiology.

Jen earned her MSc and PhD from Queen’s University and completed postdoctoral training at McGill University’s Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology and St. Mary’s Research Centre. Her postdoctoral research focused on the role of lifestyle and other epidemiological factors in ovarian cancer risk, helping to advance our understanding of how modifiable exposures may influence cancer outcomes. She has been recognized with awards from CIHR and FRQS, and is a recipient of the Cancer Research Society’s Next Generation of Scientists Award.
