  • >15,000 participants enrolled
  • >80 research studies supported from biobanked inventory materials
  • >20 studies supported with prospective custom collections and/or services
  • >3,000 students have enrolled in the UBC edX Biospecimen Research Methods education course for researchers

CTRNet

Encompasses leading biobanks and biobanking experts in Canada, established in 2004, operates the Biobank Resource Center and the ATiM Resource Center that host the following resources:

  • National biobank and data standards with supporting SOPs (>11,000 downloads)
  • Biobank Registration and Certification Programs supporting >700 biobanks
  • The ATiM data management system supporting >50 biobanks
  • The Essentials of Biobanking Education Course for biobankers (enrolled >4,000 learners)
