Elizabeth’s role as leader of the BC Cancer Research Centre Biosafety Program is to provide support, training and education on the safe management of biohazardous materials and to promote and monitor compliance with the applicable legislative requirements for biosafety, biosecurity and worker safety. Elizabeth is the biosafety officer for the BC Cancer Research Centre, member of the UBC Biosafety Committee and BCCRC’s Lab Operations and the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees.
