Congratulations to Dr. Florian Kuchenbauer (Kuchenbauer Lab), who has been awarded a 2020 Canada Innovation Fund (CFI)/BC Knowledge Development Fund (BCKDF) John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) grant for his proposal “Exploring mitochondrial function as therapeutic target in acute myeloid leukemia and multiple myeloma”.
CFI funds up to a maximum of 40 per cent of a project’s total cost. CFI applicants at UBC must also apply to the BCKDF for matching funds of up to 40 per cent of the value of the CFI project. UBC submits all CFI and BCKDF funding applications on behalf of its researchers. CFI's primary funding programs are the JELF and the Innovation Fund (IF).
