I earned my BSc in Physics from Alzahra University in Tehran. Coming from the field of Physics, I have had long experiences and deep interests in astronomy, which together provided me with a good opportunity to work as a volunteer researcher with the Department of Astrophysics in University of Victoria. It was the time I stepped into the world of data science and found a strong desire to pursue my graduate studies in a relevant field. Currently, I am studying for a Master of computer science at the University of Victoria. My MSc project is mainly focused on GWAS and investigating the effect of germline variants on immune response and metabolic pathways in cancer.
