Research Interests:

  • Connecting tumour tissue data with clinical and paitient outcomes data.
  • As the Biodata Coordinator Aleata´s primary focus is assisting with rounding out the clinical picture on the data collected by the TTR on the tissue specimens with information about the donors such as the treatments they receive and the outcomes of those treatments. She is also involved in the process of donor consent, coordination with VIHA Pathologists and the release of data and tissue specimens to researchers. Aleata also works with several of the BCCA Radiation Oncologists on their research projects to assist with data capture and manuscript writing and coordinates the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Unit Pilot Study.
