Antibody Research Unit
The Antibody Research Unit (ARU) was established to provide a service for BCCRC researchers, local investigators and external clients, while continuously advancing antibody technologies. The mission of our facility is to leverage our talents, energies and core competencies to develop and deliver high−value antibodies with scientific excellence. With a commitment to quality, values, integrity and ethics, we can:
- Provide high quality antibodies in a high-throughput manner while concentrating on quality of product and of service.
- Develop novel high-throughput techniques and screening assays for the production of high affinity monoclonal antibodies;
- Conduct comprehensive cancer research by applying antibody− based platform technologies;
- Produce new diagnostic and therapeutic antibody products.
Services provided ⇒ Consulting on peptide and antigen design. ⇒ Producing recombinant antigens. ⇒ Generating monoclonal antibodies. ⇒ Characterizing antibodies by different assays including in cell Western and tissue microarray. ⇒ Scaling up antibody production. ⇒ Labeling and conjugating antigens and antibodies. ⇒ Advising on further characterization of the produced antibodies.
Scientific and technology partners
The ARU works closely with leading scientists, oncologists, physicians and chemists as our partners, who provide rich scientific and clinical resources, advanced equipment and top quality supplies. The ARU looks forward to working with additional scientific and technology partners to apply our antibody-based proteomics to your projects in the future.
Antibody technology vista
We are building a gateway to link you to every aspect of antibody and related technologies. Through this site, you can find information on current progress in antibody research, immunology textbooks, protocols, conferences, antibody search engines, and antibody sequencing and structure databases.
