Research Interests

My researches aim to contribute to increasing knowledge about the mechanisms of carcinogenesis of lung cancers. I am interested in a better understanding of the evolution between the different types of lung tumors. I study genetic and epigenetic changes induced by smoking and other environmental factors to identify the mechanisms that play a role in carcinogenesis. This work could also improve the early diagnosis of lung cancer and lead to the identification of new therapeutic targets.
