BSc. Microbiology and Statistics, University of Victoria, 2014

Research Interests:

I am a Research Assistant II for the immunotherapy program out of the Conconi Family Immunotherapy Lab at BC Cancer. My work involves developing and applying protocols and procedures for the manufacturing of immunotherapeutic products including clinical-grade T cells under GMP guidelines for cancer patients for adoptive T cell therapy clinical trials. The trials involve using autologous ex vivo-expanded tumour infiltrating lymphocytes adoptively transferred back into patients to elicit an immune response and manufacturing autologous anti-CD19 CAR T cells products. These are exciting advances in cancer immunotherapy and are brings new understanding and insight which could influence future research.
