Back ground

I earned a B.Sc. from the University of Victoria in Biology and Microbiology and subsequently pursued research positions in protein biochemistry, virology, and cell signaling. In 2013, I completed a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Alberta, where I then trained as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Experimental Oncology. Excited by the extraordinary potential of cancer immunotherapies, I joined the BC Cancer’s Trev & Joyce Deeley Research Centre (DRC) in Victoria, BC as the Research Operations Leader. In this role I support DRC operations, academic research, DRC core facilities, and the launch of BCCA Immunotherapy Program clinical trials.
