Research Interests: Analysis and Assessment of Vascular Structures in Skin Lesions.

Vascular structures are one of the most important features in the diagnosis and assessment of skin disorders. Their presence, patterns and clinical appearance in skin lesions are significant diagnostic factors with high specificity in differentiating skin conditions. Hence, detection and recognition of cutaneous vascular structures provides huge impacts on diagnosis accuracy and assessment precision. My research focuses on the detection, quantification and pattern recognition of cutaneous vasculature to help with the diagnosis, monitoring and understanding of the skin abnormalities.
