Structure-Function Analysis of the Tissue System
Dynamic Evolution of the tissue system breakdown
  • Tissue phenotype of a lesion describes its Structural State
  • The Alterations of tumor-suppressor genes and the nuclear morphometry describe the Functional State of the tissue

The analysis of the relations between these two aspects of the same process should bring us a more integrated description of the whole dynamic process, which drives a homeostatic system to uncontrolled -but sometimes reversible- growth.

LOH Distribution in the HistoMorphometric Space
  • Do two different phenotypes correspond to two different genotypes?
  • What can a given phenotype can tell us about the genotype?
